We want camp to be a place where everyone feels safe, included, and able to have fun. By coming to camp, you agree to:
- Treat others with kindness and respect.
- Listen to and follow leaders’ instructions.
- Join in with activities and support others to do the same.
- Be on time for sessions, meals, and activities.
- Respect camp boundaries and only go where leaders say is allowed.
- Follow quiet times so everyone can rest.
Safety and behaviour
The following are not acceptable at camp:
- Bullying or deliberately excluding others
- Physical aggression or behaviour that could cause harm
- Disrespectful or abusive language towards others
- Damaging property or the camp environment
- Smoking, vaping, alcohol, or drugs
- Leaving the site or group without permission
Mobile Phones
You may bring a mobile phone with you (if you have one). Phones should not be used during sessions, activities, or after lights-out. We encourage everyone to switch phones off or to silent with no flash alerts at night so everyone can rest. Leaders will let you know when it is appropriate to use phones, including opportunities to contact home. If there is any use of phones that is upsetting to others, or disrespectful, leaders will remove the phone until parents have been spoken to.
If there are concerns about behaviour, leaders will speak with you and may contact parents/carers. In serious situations, participants may be asked to go home
