Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure?

Join us this Easter for a unique experience where fun, friendship, and spiritual discovery come together.

This year, we’re stepping into the magical world of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, with a twist. Using its powerful story, we’ll explore real truths about our own lives, choices, and hearts.

Easter Rally is a residential for young people aged 13–18, generally school years 8–13. If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, just get in touch. We’d love to help.

We usually gather at Wellspring House, but this year we’re heading to West End Outdoor Centre, a fantastic venue we’ve enjoyed during past Family Weekends.

The residential runs from 3pm on Tuesday 7th April to 10am on Friday 10th April.

Each morning includes interactive sessions with discussion and activities. No need to have read Harry Potter. We’ll watch the third film together on the first day. From there, we’ll explore connections to New Church teachings and discover how these ideas can shape our everyday lives.

We’ll also work together in groups to lead short morning or evening services. These are special times to share, reflect, and enjoy singing together in a joyful and welcoming space.

If you are aged 18, please contact us at least six weeks in advance so we can arrange a DBS check.

Spiritual sessions

We’ll explore the idea of Dementors, the shadowy creatures that drain happiness, and reflect on the “Dementors” in our own lives, fear, discouragement, and sadness. Together, we’ll discover how hope, truth, and the Lord’s light, like a Patronus, can help us overcome darkness.

The Time-Turner gives us another powerful theme. While we can’t go back in time, we’ll explore Divine Providence, how the Lord lovingly leads us every day, even when life doesn’t go as we planned. We’ll see how every moment offers a chance to begin again and make a new choice.

Through the story of Peter Pettigrew, we’ll think about revenge and why it never truly satisfies. Instead, we’ll discover the freedom that comes through forgiveness.

In Sirius Black’s story, we’ll explore repentance and the importance of being seen for who we truly are. We’ll reflect on how everyone has the opportunity to change.

And don’t worry if Harry Potter isn’t your thing. You’ll still feel completely at home. These stories simply help us uncover meaningful spiritual insights and practical ways to navigate life with courage, hope, and trust in the Lord.

Come along to make friends, ask big questions, and discover something meaningful, in the world, in yourself, and in the Lord’s love and guidance.

Social activities

Afternoons are all about relaxing, having fun, and spending time together.

We’ll head outdoors, weather permitting, explore the local area, and enjoy a variety of games and group activities. The much-loved quiz night will definitely be making a return.

There will also be plenty of time to unwind, chat, and simply enjoy being together.

Easter Rally Trip!

Each year we head out for a special trip. In 2026, we’re planning a visit to The Forbidden Corner.

It’s a place full of mystery, surprises, and hidden paths, where “at every turn there are decisions to make and tricks to avoid.” A perfect setting for adventure, exploration, and a lot of fun together.
