I’m in my 60s but feel more like I’m in my 30s. I’m 5’10”.  I get great enjoyment from my 3 children and my collie dog, Mollie. I enjoy lots of sports and am a big Fulham and Pittsburgh Steelers fan, luckily winning isn’t that important to me.

I love helping young people to work out what is important to them, so that they feel they know the direction they want to move in.  I love children’s lack of cynicism and their enthusiasm, which is why I enjoy working with them.  I never want any child in my care to feel that they are not good enough.

At the time of writing I am 60 and only just starting to inwardly accept that I am now getting old(ish)!  I have always loved the great outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking and enduring the elements.

Fortunately, just in time for old age, my wife Suzie has now managed to tame me and teach me “glamping” instead of camping!  In the past I competed well in all sports bar swimming, my Achilles heel! I guess I will just have to find more relaxing hobbies!

Hi, I’m Shannon. I’ve been involved in church and youth work for a number of years, and I’m passionate about creating spaces where young people feel safe, valued, and able to be themselves. I love journeying alongside young people as they explore who they are, what matters to them, and how faith connects with everyday life. I believe every young person deserves to know they are enough, just as they are.

Outside of youth work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting involved in community life, and balancing a busy mix of work, volunteering, and church life. I’m at my happiest when people feel welcomed, listened to, and part of something bigger.

I’m Lynne, a big Sunderland AFC and Disney fan. I also love musicals and of course chocolate! Having worked with young people as a volunteer they played a big role in me choosing to become a minister – I enjoy trying to find new ways to engage young people with the Word and to have fun whilst doing so!

I think young people probably teach me more than I teach them so it’s a privilege to spend time with them.  It’s also a guarantee that most of the time there’s chocolate when I’m around so win win!!

I’m Becky.  I’ve been a minister for 10 years and have been working with children and young people since my early 20s as I was a music teacher before I became a minister.  I love spending time on residentials – being with young people makes my heart sing.  Their challenging questions always take me by surprise, but I’m happy to give answering them a go!

I have a husband, two teenage kids and two lovely rabbits.  In my spare time I enjoy cycling, playing netball, reading, and playing in orchestras and bands.

Hi, I’m Jenny. I’ve been involved in the New Church all my life and have been a Youth leader for about 10 years. I am also a primary school teacher (although I work in a secondary school) and one of my favourite places in the world is Purley Chase.

The most important (and best part of my job) is helping to bring children, young adults and families together to have fun, learn together and laugh together. I love to see everyone making new friends and catching up with old friends too. In my spare time I like to read, spend time with friends (preferably drinking tea and eating cake!) and watch and sing along to musicals.
